Women of men at war are at home all alone for long periods of time. We are always hearing of people getting pregnant and father not seeing their children until they come home from war.
In this article it describes how there has been a big increase on births while milatary men are at war. It is probably enough stress on the wife of a husband at war because of the thought that he might not ever be comming home. Add on to that, that you having a child that might never see their father. It must be so hard to be alone and pregnant and constantly be worrying. It must feel like no other pain. This women said at every call " She jumps thinking its him," and everytime the door bell rings she "feels her heart hit the pit of her stomach."
