Teenage Pregnancy

Instead of getting an article for this I got statistics to write about. I decided to get teen sex and pregnancy statistics considering it is a widely spread issue across america.

Most very young teens have not had intercourse: 8 in 10 girls and 7 in 10 boys are sexually inexperienced at age 15. Most young people begin having sex in their mid-to-late teens, about 8 years before they marry; more than half of 17-year-olds have had intercourse.

The number of 17-year-olds that have sex is more than half of the ones that don't. That is appauling girls are not even considered adults then. More than half of these girls report that it is involuntary sex, they didn't even want to do it. Could this be shame or did these girls really not want the intercourse?

I bet the real reason for these girls saying it was involuntary was because they were ashamed of it. Though this might not be all of them most of them are probably lying. But even if they are lying doesn't mean they don't regret it. Which is very true. Some girls have sex at a young age because they think it will make the boy that they like love them more. But it's really all they want and all their going to do is brag to theirfriends about it and your going to be known as a slut because you had sex when you were 14 years old. Going through your younger life being tlaked about isn't fun and it really can wear down on a girl. Young girls who have sex to feel loves usually end up getting hurt and getting named a hoe. They try to get away from it so they hang out with girls like them and then grow up with them. The name will tear her up and let this young girl have a really rough youth.
